I was genuinely disappointed by the outdated washrooms. It was unacceptable that the entrance was so hard to find. The noisy late-night activities by the pool made it impossible to sleep, leaving me frustrated.

Pepper was set 5 minutes walk away. Our room had a nice balcony. The view from the window was great. We appreciated the facilities and staff and okay prices.

Massive hotel (3 connected together with 300+ rooms) so there were plenty of resources, swimming pools, bar, tennis courts, table tennis etc... Nice and clean too. Close to the men who fish from the stilts....

the nearby stilt fisherman gave me an very nice view of the local culture and the walk to Madol Duwa was a refreshing escape into nature, really enhancing my weekend adventure.

Our stay at Koggala Beach Hotel was very poor and I would not recommend it to any couple. Quite frankly it is the worst hotel / resort I have ever stayed at and it has: -Terrible staff -Awful food with a significant lack of choice -Misleading website (i.e. activities the website says are available are not) -Hotel rooms greatly require refurbishment -Poor atmosphere
